WHA has become the “go to” local and regional media guru to regional media outlets. WHA has established relationships with contacts at the major dailies, weeklies, monthlies and quarterly publications throughout the country by researching and knowing the reporters, their respective deadlines, beats, and reporting styles.

WHA contacts consumer and business reporters on behalf of General Growth Properties on a weekly basis. With our current roster of centers, WHA is always arranging interviews with the marketing directors, center general managers and even the GGP Corporate PR Team. We work closely with GGP’s Vice President of Corporate Communications David Keating and Director of Communications Lesley Cheers to keep all messaging consistent and within the stringent guidelines of GGP. The team presents ideas about redevelopment activities, retail trends, holiday events at the centers, new concepts/store openings, to name a few. GGP’s coverage has appeared in Style Magazine, Baltimore Magazine, The Maryland Daily Record, Baltimore Business Journal, Baltimore Sun, Baltimore Examiner, Philadelphia Inquirer, Susquehanna Style (Lancaster), The News-Journal (Delaware), Columbia Flier, Owings Mills Times, Jewish Times, Towson Times, The Avenue, Washington Post, Laurel Leader, Laurel Gazette, Women’s Wear Daily, Baltimore Messenger, City Paper, Urbanite and the Jeffersonian.
