Weinberg Harris & Associates earned two Best in Maryland awards from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) on Wednesday evening, recognizing our team's excellence in media relations and creativity in podcasting. The Best in Maryland awards are presented annually to public relationship practitioners who have successfully demonstrated professional skill, creativity, and resourcefulness in a communications campaign.

WHA won Best in Maryland for Media Relations (For Profit) for its media relations campaign surrounding Cirque du Soleil: Crystal at the Royal Farms Arena in 2018. Using both traditional media relations and influnecer relations tactics, WHA generated nearly 400,000impressions in Baltimore-regional media and reached a combined total of more than 20,000 readers through Instagram influencers.

WHA's work in podcasting on behalf of Roland Park Place also earned recognition as Best in Maryland at the ceremony. As the agency of record for the community, WHA works with RPP's marketing team to showcase the diverse backgrounds, stories, and viewpoints of its residents through the podcast, A Valuable Perspective. The podcast not only shares stories, advice, and insight from residents who offer “a valuable perspective,” but also illustrated the unique backgrounds and experiences that shape the environment at Roland Park Place.
